Netflix Originals Coming to Netflix in February 2017

Netflix is set to get at least six more Netflix Originals in February 2017 with much more likely to be announced as we get closer to the date. We’re here to bring you a full preview of the Netflix Originals scheduled to hit Netflix in February 2017.

Plenty of variety this month and a lot of titles you probably never asked for but you’re going to be glad you got them anyway.

Santa Clarita Diet (Season 1)

Brand new comedy starring industry heavyweights Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore. It’ll premiere will all episodes dropping on February 3rd. The pair star as LA realtors whose daughter takes a big life decision which sparks a dramatic change in the pair’s relationship. Plenty of blood is found here and the best comparison is to call this the Netflix verison of iZombie.


Michael Bolton’s Big Sexy Valentine’s Day Special (Special)

Are you getting it on this Valentines Day? If the answer is no, then you certainly will be after you watch this variety show that’s hosted by Michael Bolton himself. Expect it to be similar to Bill Murrays Netflix Christmas special release a couple year ago. Special guests include Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Casey Wilson, Chris Parnell, Eric André, Michael Sheen, and Randall Park.

The new big documentary series for you to binge on will be arriving in February. From executive producer Morgan Neville, this documentary series will turn your attention to the arts, more specifically, modern art. It’ll give you an in-depth look into computer design and modern contemporary design too with some of the world’s most prolific designers.


David Brent: Life on the Road (Film – 2016)

David Brent is back. It’s been seemingly ages since we first got to meet the wacky manager of Wernam Hogg but in 2016, he was back and touring with his brand new band. Full of awkward moments, Brent is back in the game and thankfully it’s coming to Netflix exclusively. It’s not the first time Netflix has worked with Ricky as he’s produced Special Correspondents for the service as well as exclusively streaming his series Derek internationally.


I Don’t Feel at Home In This World Anymore (Film – 2017)

One of Netflix’s biggest pickups from the Sundance festival is I Don’t Feel At Home in this World Anymore which stars Melanie Lynskey and Elijah Wood. Its initial premiere will take place midway through January before arriving on Netflix around the world exclusively towards the end of February. It’s about a neighbor duo who are tracking down thieves in the neighborhood but get a little out of their depth.


Chef’s Table (Season 3)

This will be the third season of Chef’s Table not including the special season last year which covered all French chef’s. The series seeks the most prestigious chef’s in the world, teaches you their methods and showing you how they came to be in their position. This season we’re visiting South Korea, Russia, Germany, Peru, New York and LA.


Ultimate Beastmaster (Season 1)

If you’ve ever asked the question “I wonder what it’d be like if Sylvester Stallone presented a Ninja Warrior style game show?”. Then you’re in luck as Netflix has snapped up a series which is likely right up your alley.

The series will pit contenders from all around the world to compete in the Ultimate Beastmaster. Expect it to be a more intense version of Total Wipeout at the least. Different presenters are going to presenting in each of the competing countries.
