As we roll further into winter, new treats are sure to brighten up your darkened nights wondering what to watch on Netflix. It’s time for the mid-month preview of what’s coming to Netflix in November 2015 starting with the brand new Netflix Originals. You can expect a full comprehensive list of everything that’s set to launch on Netflix US later this month.
As with the past several months each month has one main series release alongside a movie, a few comedy stand-ups and often a documentary or two. This approach by Netflix ensures that you have something to watch every month that’s new and most importantly, varied.
Master of None
Standup Comedy – November 6th
Aziz Ansari returns to Netflix once again after several successful comedy specials arriving on Netflix throughout the past few years. The star most known for his role on NBC’s Parks and Recreation is quite different to his on-screen role.
In this comedy special Netflix notes that he’ll speak about “subjects as diverse as the plight of the elderly, the immigrant experience, and how to find the most delicious pasta for dinner.”
John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid
Standup Comedy – November 13th
Best known for his work on Saturday Night Live along with lots of other TV shorts, John Mulaney switches things up as he tries his luck with stand-up comedy performance and it looks like his experience is paying off. Set to contain stories ranging from different realtors he knows, how he met Bill Clinton and his time as a temp it’s sure to relate regardless of who you are.
The standup special arrives on November 13th and has been prerecorded at a packed out Chicago Theater.
With Bob and David
Comedy Series – November 13th
With Bob and Dave is reunion for the much loved stars who performed their own sketch show a few decades back on HBO. With both stars haven to gone onto bigger and better things a reunion would’ve been hard to imagine for most but they’ve pulled it off. They’ll perform funny, witty and sometimes outrageous experimental comedy sketches which should appeal to all audiences but be a real treat for fans of the old show.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones
Action Series – November 20th
This is the big one. Netflix has invested and banked on its Marvels series to be a big win for them and Daredevil earlier this year has left the bar set very, very high. Jessica Jones is a small time detective in Hells Kitchen chasing a convict who was put away by Daredevil earlier. She has the power of flight and is an ultimate badass. It’s scheduled to hit later in the month on November 20th with all episodes arriving the same day.
