Welcome to the September preview for what’s coming to Netflix next month including the new Disney titles, Netflix Originals, movies, TV series and documentaries scheduled to be coming over the next 30 days.
As always, this list doesn’t cover all of the new titles added throughout September only a selection. For daily updates, make sure you follow us on our socials as well as keeping an eye on our What’s New section.
September 2017 Highlights
New Netflix Originals
This is most likely the biggest Netflix Original lineup we’ve ever had and it appears to be only growing as the month’s tick by. At the beginning of the month, we’ll see the next season of Narcos which has basically cleaned house cast wise to focus on a brand new drug cartel.
We’ll see more episodes of Fuller House drop, Netflix’s reboot of the popular 90’s show, Full House. Animated sitcom Bojack Horseman is getting a new season and new stand-up specials from Jeff Dunham and Jerry Seinfeld top the lineup for September.
New Movies
The first of the month will bring with it some cult classics from the 80’s and 90’s. First up is Dead Poets Society which scooped up an Oscar in 1989. We’ll see the return of one of Tarantino’s finest movies, Pulp Fiction as well as the complete Jaws collection return to Netflix in September.
We’ve also got quite a few Disney movies being added in September too! Disney will be adding three of their older movies including Mulan, Hercules and Pocahontas. Most importantly though, is the streaming premiere and exclusive early addition of the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson.
New TV Series
September will see the renewal of some of Netflix’s biggest third party show. Starting with AMC, Netflix will be renewing The Walking Dead with season 7. The zombie show reached new heights this season and was tenser than ever. Over to NBC, The Blacklist will be getting an update just before the new season begins airing.
We’ll also see Gotham season 3 get added to Netflix as well as the renewal of Portlandia.
