Top 5 Movies Coming to Netflix US in June 2018

There are quite a few excellent movies headed to Netflix in June!

It’s that time again where we take a look at the new content headed your way next month. In addition to the great original content, there are two early releases we think you’ll be very interested in. There are some returning titles worth a look as well including The Departed, Blue Jasmine, and Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.

5. Alex Strangelove Netflix Original

Arrives June 8th

Written and directed by Craig Johnson (The Skeleton Twins), Daniel Doheny is Alex Truelove, a high school senior with a girlfriend who is eager to finally have sex with Alex. Things get complicated, however, when Alex meets a handsome and charming gay kid from the other side of town who unwittingly sends him on a journey of exploring his own sexual identity.


4. Set It Up Netflix Original

Arriving June 15th

Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell star in this romantic comedy as two assistants who both work for brutal execs. Beleaguered and desperate, they hatch a plan to make their bosses (Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs) fall in love and become nicer people, making their lives bearable again.


3. Brain on Fire Netflix Original

Arrives June 22nd

Based on the best-selling book and a true story, Chloë Grace Moretz stars as a writer for the New York Post who begins begins to experience strange things (such as in a state of trance, people — who are not actually present — talking about her and being sensitive to annoying noise) and her behavior becomes unusually erratic. Her life is turned upside down as she searches for answers.


2. Star Wars: The Last Jedi Disney Early Release

Arrives June 26th

Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever.


1. Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok Disney Early Release

Arrives June 5th

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
