Netflix DVD subscribers are going to be treated to a wide collection of new releases throughout October and we’ve got the complete list of the boxsets and movies on the way.
Let’s take a look at some highlights before getting into the full list.
Chernobyl
Let’s start off with possibly the biggest must-watch DVD boxset of all time. Earlier this year, HBO released the surprise hit Chernobyl. It dramatizes and recreates the Chernobyl disaster and was instantly met with critical and fan acclaim. In fact, just recently, the series won a major accolade at the 2019 Emmys.
Aladdin
Our second highly comes from Disney who is going through their 90s back catalog at the moment recreating some of their best-known titles.
This recreation sees Will Smith plays the role of the genie and although it met criticism at first, the movie went onto gross a billion dollars.
Midsommar
One of the biggest horror titles is coming to Netflix DVD just in time for Halloween. Midsommar, which reportedly made audiences sick in the cinemas, is going to be available meaning you can now do so in the comfort of your own home.
A24 produced the horror which sees a couple travel to Sweden to visit a mid-summer festival.
