There’s a lot to look forward to this week on Netflix as we’re now going to take you through. From brand new mini-series, blockbuster movies, Starz series and plenty of Netflix Originals, it’s going to be a great week for Netflixers.

Of course, on Saturday we’ll be going into June meaning we’re midway through 2019. Can you believe it? That also means that we’ll get a bunch of new movie releases as per usual to mark the start of a new month.

Let’s take you through five things you should be excited to watch on Netflix this week.

Article Continues Below...

Outlander (Season 1 & 2)

In a somewhat surprising addition to Netflix, this week comes the first two seasons of Outlander. The fantasy series from Starz sees a combat nurse from 1945 transported back to 1743.

When They See Us (Miniseries) Netflix Original

Looking for a new series but not looking for a long-term commitment? When They See Us comes from Ava DuVernay who is hoping to accurately retell the story of the Central Park jogger case from the late 1980s.

The Dark Knight and Batman Begins

On June 1st, we’ll be seeing two fantastic superhero movies arrive on Netflix. They’ve both been on Netflix in the past but given their caliber, we just had to mention them.

The Christian Bale trilogy still remains the best Batman adaptation to date and features the directing of the talented Christopher Nolan.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 4)

We’ve seen a bunch of new CW releases over the past few weeks. Just this week we’ve seen Riverdale, The Flash and Arrow. This week we’ll see the next two titles in the Arrowverse universe.

Legends of Tomorrow is quickly becoming a personal favorite of mine out of the many DC titles from The CW.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2019) Disney Release

Despite having some very poor reviews, we thought we’d highlight the next title to come to Netflix from the Disney deal and that means that only two remains.

The Christmas movie sees a young girl journey to the magic world with gingerbread soldiers and armies of mouses.
