Welcome to your weekly preview of what’s heading to Netflix over the next 7 days and boy, has Netflix got one hell of a lineup for you. Here’s the full breakdown of what’s coming to Netflix which includes the November 1st additions which count as a double whammy as we’ll explain below.
November 1st will bring with it both the big catalog of movies you’ve come to expect from the day but as it lands on a Friday, you’ve also got all of the new Netflix Originals for the week too.
Notably, this week will see the release of Apple TV+ on Friday along with its brand new suite of Originals. Let us know in the comments below if they’ve tempted any of you away with their lineup.

Shine On with Reese (Season 1)
Netflix Release Date: Monday, October 28th
Looking for some girl talk? Shine On With Reese featuring 9 episodes drops on Monday that sees Reese Witherspoon sitting down with various guests including Dolly Parton, Ava DuVernay and P!nk.
Netflix may have picked up this title given that Reese Witherspoon is going to be in the spotlight on Friday when her debut show on Apple TV+
Raging Bull (1980)
Netflix Release Date: Thursday, October 31st
With The Irishman fast approaching you may want to be catching up on some of Martin Scorsese’s back catalog and on Thursday, you’ll be able to do just that.
Raging Bull is all about the life of the boxer Jake LaMotta both in the ring and out of the ring. The movie features a young Robert De Niro and went onto score two Oscars.
Atypical (Season 3)
Netflix Release Date: Friday, November 1st
Perhaps the most underrated comedy on Netflix continues to be the fantastic series Atypical. Following Sam, the series has taken many twists and turns over the past three seasons with season 3 promising to be the one that changes things up the most.
Hopefully, the show continues after its third season but the only way to ensure that is to watch the show in full when it releases on Friday.
Billy on the Street (Seasons 1-4)
Netflix Release Date: Friday, November 1st
Netflix is getting a huge dump of the first four seasons of Billy on the Street where he takes to the street to ask average punters various questions with loud and shouty personality.
The first four seasons feature some huge special guests including Will Ferrell, Rashida Jones, Lena Dunham, Joel McHale, Patton Oswalt and many more.
The King (2019)
Netflix Release Date: Friday, November 1st
Netflix is kicking off its huge drive for the Oscars with The King, a biographical historical drama focusing on a young king forced onto the throne after his father dies. He’s thrusted into a world of politics and war.
The movie is directed by David Michôd and features talent such as Robert Pattinson, Timothée Chalamet and Ben Mendelsohn.
If you fancy catching this one in cinemas, it’s available in select theaters on Friday too.
