It’s time for another weekly preview of what’s coming to Netflix over the next 7 days. It’s going to be a busier week than usual as we cross over into a new month and get treated to a bunch of new movie releases on the first. Here’s what’s coming to Netflix in the US between September 30th and October 6th.
As always, let’s run through some of the highlights before we dive into the full list:
Gotham (Season 5)
Netflix Release Date: Monday, September 30th
The fifth and final season of the superhero series Gotham will be coming on Monday. The series has been one of the best superhero series of all time with some fantastic deep dives into some of the best-known superhero villains of all time.
October 1st Additions
There are so many movies coming on October 1st we aren’t able to give each one worthy of your time a complete section so let’s take you through a few picks that we’ll be rewatching or checking out for the first time.
- Shortly before Charlie’s Angels returns to the cinemas, you’ll be able to watch the reboot from the early 2000s on Netflix from October 1st. They star Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu.
- Bad Boys 1 and 2 arrive on Netflix on October 1st and there are two reasons you should give them a rewatch. Firstly, the reboot is due in cinemas next year and secondly, Michael Bay (the director) is set to release his movie 6 Underground on Netflix in December.
- Nickelodeon movies – There are three Nick movies headed to Netflix on October 1st with those being Good Burger, The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats in Paris: The Movie for those wanting to revisit their childhood.
- Senna is possibly one of the best biopics ever created and details the life of the famous Formula 1 racing driver.
Peaky Blinders (Season 5)
Netflix Release Date: Friday, October 4th
It’s finally back. After a long hiatus, the fantastic British series starring Cillian Murphy is back and this time, his character is rising the ranks.
Expect more grit, fantastic drama in the latest season of one of Netflix’s best shows.
There are also over 100 titles set to leave Netflix on October 1st so be sure to stream those before they depart.
