It’s going to be a much busier week compared to the last when it comes to new Netflix releases for the second week of September. With some returning favorites and debuts, it’s going to be a great week for Netflix subscribers.
As we mentioned, last weeks additions were a little lacking but this week it couldn’t be more of the opposite.
This list covers the Netflix Originals which will arrive globally and the other US Netflix releases. You can refer to our guides for the UK, Australian and Canadian releases for next weeks additions for those countries.
Here’s what you have to look forward to this week on Netflix:
Shameless (Season 9)
Netflix Release Date: Tuesday, September 10th
Showtime’s Shameless is one of the only shows from the network to continue to come to Netflix. The latest season of Shameless sees several cast changes as some of the cast goes to work on other projects throughout the duration. We also are set to see more departures by the end of Shameless season 9 too.
This season we see Frank turn to politics as his time in the workplace comes to a quick close.
Bill Burr: Paper Tiger (2019) Netflix Original
Netflix Release Date: Tuesday, September 10th
Bill Burr is one of the most prolific comedians on Netflix. His first special first arrived on Netflix back in 2014 as one of the first Original stand-up specials.
His new stand-up talks about outrage culture, male feminism, and cultural appropriation.
Just a reminder, you can also catch Bill Burr in Netflix’s F is for Family which is waiting on its fourth season to release sometime in 2020.
The Ranch (Part 7) Netflix Original
Netflix Release Date: Friday, September 13th
The end is nigh for The Ranch which sees part 7 due out by the end of the week. There are only 20 episodes remaining for the show with the first 10 of the twenty due out this week.
We’ll see Colt adjust to his new life as a father and begin wrapping things up in the overall story.
The I-Land (Limited Series) Netflix Original
Netflix Release Date: Thursday, September 12th
This series is clearly gunning for the audience that made LOST one of the biggest shows of the earliest 21st Century.
Starring Kate Bosworth, Sibylla Deen, Kota Eberhardt, and Gilles Geary, it’ll see 10 people wake up on an island with no recollection as to how they got there.
