If Netflix users weren’t angry over the disappearing BBC titles then todays news will certainly annoy fans, especially the young ones or in the case of My Little Pony – young at heart. Hasbro like the BBC will still continue to have titles streaming on Netflix but a few of the programs are up for renegotiation with the service meaning they could just continue being on Netflix after the due date, disappear then reappear after renegotiations or simply disappear forever.

Netflix representative Jenny McCabe spoke to USA Today about this issue saying  “Netflix has such a broad set of content that no one vendor accounts for a significant amount of viewing on a consistent basis”

The titles in question and are set to leave on the 2nd of February are :

  • Jem and The Holograms (3 Seasons)
  • My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic (4 Seasons)
  • Littlest Pet Shop (3 Seasons)
  • Pound Puppies (3 Seasons)
  • The Adventures of Chuck and Friends (2 Seasons)
  • Transformers Prime (3 Seasons)
  • Transformers Rescue Robots (2 Seasons)

Alot of their titles will continue to remain on the service such as many of the other Transformers series and other My Little Pony series. What may actually happen is we get a boat load more of these series but we cannot predict as we’re not part of the negotiations.
