Update : The Netflix application is now reporting that it’s scheduled to be removed on October the 1st.

Bad news Michael Scott fans in the United Kingdom, it looks like The Office from NBC is due to expire from the Netflix library according to a Netflix UK fansite from Maft, who also writes for us too. Maft collects information about which titles are due to expire over the next few weeks and displays them on his website.

While a lot of the filler content on Netflix often gets taken off, next month there seems to be a significant amount of good titles to be removed, one of which is The Office US and it is a personal favorite of mine.

The Office U.S stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, a regional manager at a paper distribution center and follows the lives of its workers in a mockumentary style comedy series. It lasted 9 seasons before ending a few years ago. It’s a great binge watch and is one of those shows which you can watch over and over without it getting old. Although disappointing, it may be the case that Netflix renews the show closer to when it’s due to expire.

Other titles scheduled to be removed in the UK in September includes a lot of the Nickelodeon catalogue including Avatar, iCarly, Dora the Explorer, Spongebob Squarepants and Rugrats.

The BBC version, which came out half a decade earlier starring Ricky Gervais, isn’t scheduled to be removed.
