New Netflix DVD Releases: 21st June 2016

Published on EST

Welcome to your weekly guide to what’s now available on Netflix DVD. Coming towards the end of June, the month starts to get a little quiet but all is not lost as those who love modern comedies will be right at home with this update especially if you like Rebel Wilson.

Let’s kick off with the next movie from Sacha Baron Cohen, the genius behind the cult followed movies such as Borat and Bruno. Coming back in 2016 with The Brothers Grimsby. This time Sacha has disguised himself as a football hooligan looking to find his way into the crime underworld in London. The critics weren’t all that kind to the movie with a few exceptions but that’s because his movies are so subjective. The other big comedy releasing this week is How To Be Single featuring an all female cast including Alison Brie, Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson and once again, Rebel Wilson. The title pretty much tells you where we’re going with this movie and it’s a good chick-flick.

Other highlights this week include the first Disney movie of the year The Finest Hours which is a disaster movie in the ocean starring Chris Pine and Casey Affleck. Finally this week, you should definitely go give a binge watch to the hit ABC series, How to Get Away With Murder. The show has won countless awards and given it’s on right now with season 3, there’s never been a better time to learn the secrets of the trade.
