Welcome to the second month of the revived DVD section here on What’s on Netflix. We have brought back this section with a new and updated format. Each month, we’ll be giving you a quick preview and highlight of what’s coming to Netflix DVD over the coming weeks. As the month goes on it is possible that more titles will be announced, and in this case, they will be added to the list.

At first glance, this month has some pretty big movies. Our highlights include Alien Covenant, directed by Ridley Scott and follows the crew of the colony ship ‘Covenant’ en route to a far secluded planet. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will also be making its way to Netflix DVD to the delight of many Marvel fans. Season 7 of The Walking Dead will be available to rent on Netflix DVD on the 22nd of August. If you spot something in the list you’re excited for, please tell us in the comment below.
