It’s been a bumper week for new releases on the Netflix DVD platform. Strap yourself in as you’ve got a lot of entertainment to get through with some fantastic movies and boxsets now available. Here’s your full look of everything that was added to Netflix DVD for October 2nd.
Unfortunetely, despite the fact that 31 new movies dropped this week, we’d, unfortunately, categorize the majority as fairly missable. We would like to draw your attention to a couple of fantastic movies added though. Also, take a look at the upcoming Netflix DVD releases for the rest of October in our big preview.
First up, comes the big action sequel, Day of Soldado which once again stars Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin. From Sony Pictures, this movie goes out all guns blazing as our two heroes continue the hunt of the trafficked terrorists.
‘The Purge’ has been a movie franchise seemingly with no limit to how many releases it can spawn. The First Purge takes us back to the very first time The Purge was inflicted on US citizens.
On the boxset front, we’d like to draw your attention to two series of very different genres. The first is HBO’s Barry which has won multiple awards and stars SNL’s Bill Hader. The second is the fantastic Vikings series which saw volume 1 of its fifth season release on Netflix DVD this week.
