Avengers: Infinity War, American Horror Story Season 7, The Big Bang Theory Season 11
A big week of new DVD releases makes this a fantastic week to be a Netflix DVD subscriber. Once again, Netflix is continuing adding a huge swathe of boxsets to get us ready for this falls essential viewing. We’ve also got the biggest movie release of the year coming to Netflix DVD in September.
Let’s kick off with the movie releases this week. If you missed Cargo earlier in the year on Netflix streaming, you’ll now be able to watch it on DVD and Bluray. The movie stars Martin Freeman who has to navigate a post-apocalyptic Australia where a virus he’s contracted means he needs to find a new home for his daughter.
Our second movie pick is Avengers: Infinity War. There’s no doubt this has been the biggest movie release of the year with the Avengers fighting their greatest threat yet, Thanos who is out to get the infinity stones to balance the universe. It’s also coming to Netflix streaming soon.
The final movie pick of the week is Ocean’s 8, the all-female reboot. The movie took a large amount of flak when it launched earlier this year but now is your chance to watch.
On the TV front, there are two major boxset releases you should be adding to your Netflix queue. The first is the latest season of FX’s American Horror Story and the second being the latest season of CBS’s The Big Bang Theory.
