This is Us, Silicon Valley, Modern Family
The past few weeks of Netflix DVD releases have been all about the boxsets and that’s not changing going into September. The movie releases are notably lacking this week so we’re going to brush past them.
Let’s start off with the HBO release of the week as these tend to skip Netflix and be often locked behind an HBO subscription. This week, we’re getting the latest series of the fantastic Silicon Valley. It takes a look into the wacky world of Silicon Valley with top talent. Season 5 is now available on Netflix DVD.
NBC is adding two of their headline shows to Netflix DVD this week. The first major release is the latest season of the drama hit, This is Us. Heartstrings will be pulled and given the series isn’t on Netflix, this is your only chance to watch it through Netflix. NBC is also adding the season 2 boxset of Timeless which may or may not be the final season.
Finally, ABC is adding the latest season of Modern Family which sees the dysfunctional family continue their reign as the king of network sitcoms in season 9.
