With a career spanning six decades, Barbra Streisand is a legend of both stage and screen with a loyal, loving fan base. In this exclusive concert special she is joined by an exciting roster of special guests, including a special duet with Jamie Foxx, as she takes audiences on a journey of her life’s work.


The Tour

Netflix filmed a recording of Streisand’s 2016 tour, a series of concerts that accompanied the release of the singer’s Broadway duets album. This is the 75-year-old star’s seventh tour. Initially planned for nine American locations, Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…The Magic! was extended to include four additional stops, resulting in a total of 14 shows in 13 cities. The tour, which played 13 cities and was seen by 177,524 concertgoers, was directed by Streisand and Richard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by conductor Randy Waldman.  Filmed in Miami, the 2016 tour coincided with the release of her latest album, ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.

The documentary features special appearances by Seth MacFarlane, Jamie Foxx, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Melissa McCarthy, and more.


The Music

The two-hour-plus concert features 26 songs from Streisand’s six decades of films and albums. The Miami concert featured 26 songs, including “Being Alive” from Company, “Children Will Listen” from Into the Woods, “Losing My Mind” from Follies,“Don’t Rain on My Parade” from Funny Girl, “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” from Yentl, “Enough Is Enough,” “Woman in Love,” “Evergreen,” and “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
