Bard of Blood is an upcoming Indian Netflix Original spy thriller based on the novel of the same name by author Bilal Siddiqi. Upon release, Bard of Blood will become the seventh Indian series under the Netflix Original banner.

What is the plot of Bard of Blood?

When four RAW agents (Research and Analysis Wing) are captured in Balochistan, ex-communicated RAW agent Kabir Anand is asked to return to rescue the missing agents. Kabir teams with the analyst Isha and sleeper agent Veer Singh, but the mission is “off the books” which means Kabir can use any means necessary to carry out the mission.

When and where did production take place?

Details on when filming began are very limited. From the information we had to hand, the series entered pre-production on the 30th of July, 2018. It can be expected that filming began some months later and may have concluded earlier this year.

As for where the series was filmed has also been scarce in detail. The series was shot on location so filming would have taken place in Mumbai and areas in the Balochistan province.
