Fuller House Season 2 - What you need to know

Fuller House has become one of the most loved Netflix Originals rebooting its classic 90’s formula into a modern show that’s only available on Netflix. Season 1 was highly received by the fans when it launched back in February 2016. Now with 2016 coming to a close and the second season fast approaching, we thought we’d put together a preview of all the little snippets of information that’s been leaking out into the wild over the past few months. There’s a lot to get through so buckle up as we look into what’s going to be going down in Fuller House season 2.

When will Fuller House Season 2 be on Netflix?

With recording now wrapped up of the second season, technically we could see it being released earlier than the yearly cycle but we highly doubt it. February 2017 is our best bet but some have even gone as far as to say we may even have Fuller House season 2 drop before Christmas. Given it’s rather crowded in the Netflix Original space around this time we think that it’s highly unlikely and with most Netflix Originals, they tend to find a yearly date and stick to it, with a few exceptions.

How many episodes will there be in season 2 of Fuller House?

on-set-fuller-house-season-2Season 2 will feature the exact same number of episodes as season 1 meaning there’ll be 13 episodes drop all at once. It’ll bring the total count of episodes up to 26. A few of the episode names have been leaked including the first episode titled Welcome Back, the third episode named Ramona’s Not-So-Epic First Kiss, number five’s Doggy Daddy, number eight’s A Tangled Web and number 10 which looks to be a Christmas themed episode titled Nutcracker.

The Return of the Olsson Twins for Season 2?

With most of the cast from the original Full House reprising their roles in season 1 there was one noticeable exception which all of the cast even acknowledging it via a break in the fourth wall with an extended stare. The Olsson twins, who arguably were a massive part in making the original what it was were absent from the first season of the revival. It has been widely reported that they just didn’t feel comfortable going back into acting after a long hiatus. According to some sources, though, we may get cameo appearances from the pair if not a proper returning role.

Although swiftly pushed aside with an interview with Jodie Sweetin (DJ Tanner) who is very clear that they’ve given up on getting the twin involved, we’re still hopeful

The Main Cast and Cameos Set for Season 2 of Fuller House

Multiple interviews and sources have announced that there’ll be numerous celebrity cameos in season 2. Confirmed so far is Alan Ticke but both cast and Netflix have teased more stars from “over the past 30 years”. We’ll also see Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit returning in season 2 likely for much larger roles than their minor role in the first season. Also confirmed to be returning in guest roles are Bob Saget, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier.
