We’re spending Christmas at the Tanners in 2016 as the release date for season 2 of Fuller House has been announced to be releasing much earlier than many publications, including our own, had once thought. We’ll be heading back to the Tanners with the complete season 2 on December 9th, 2016.

The announcement was spread out yesterday across various social platforms from the shows official accounts stating that Christmas will come early and not only that, we should consider it as an early Christmas Gift. Does this potentially point to a possibility that Full House may be joining Netflix as an additional Christmas present in the future? Confirmations of each of the returning cameos are yet to be known but it’s thought that John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Soctt Weinger and Bob Saget are all thought to be returning in some form during season 2. Speculation has been rampant on Mary and Ashley Olsen returning at some point and while hints were giving out by some of the cast, we doubt that it’ll happen but one can only hope.

The first season was a great start and offered plenty for both new and returning fans but the series now needs to develop their own identity. It will be going up against another massive Netflix Original series that’s also just got rebooted, Gilmore Girls. The shows share a similar timeline in their history although appealing to slightly different audiences.
