Dragon Ball is a fictional phenomenon that is now ingrained into pop culture and one of the most famous Japanese exports in history. With the release of Dragon Ball Super, fans old and new couldn’t have been more excited to see the adventures of Goku and the Z fighters continue. With the series currently in high demand, where is it streaming? And is it available to stream on Netflix?

The Dragon Ball franchise has entered a renaissance over the past few years. With the release of Battle of Gods back in 2013, fans clamored for more Dragon Ball related content. Another movie and the subsequent release of the Dragon Ball Super series saw the continuation of the ever popular Dragon Ball Z almost 19 years after its final episode aired.  The Dragon Ball Super series has further continued the popularity of the franchise and the amazing work of Akira Toriyama.

The Plot

Taking place 6 months after the events of the Buu sage, there is peace on earth. Goku, having defeated Majin Buu in the climax of Dragon Ball Z, is now a turnip farmer trying to bring in income for his family. In secret Goku continues to train in the anticipation of a new threat to Earth. Unbeknowest to Goku and the Z fighters, the latest threat would come in the form of a God.

Beerus the God of Destruction awoke from his decades-long slumber to seek out the legendary Super Saiyan God. With only 2 pure-blooded Saiyans left in the known universe, it isn’t long before Beerus seeks out Goku and Vegeta to see which one is the prophecized Super Saiyan God. With the destruction of Earth on the line, Goku must ascend beyond his limits and immortalize himself as the new Super Saiyan God.
