“We’re walking the air,” It doesn’t really feel like Christmas until you get the chance to view The Snowman. The British Christmas short has gone on to become one of the most popular Christmas shorts of all time with its highly iconic theme song. The question is though, is The Snowman streaming on Netflix?
The Snowman is a famous Television adaptation of a children’s book of the same name by author Raymond Briggs. It aired to British audiences on Channel 4 on December 26th and, was even nominated for an Academy Award for ‘Best Animated Short.’ What brought even more fame to the classic Christmas tale was the song ‘Walking in the Air’ song by choirboy Peter Auty.
The tale of The Snowman follows the adventure of a young boy named James that awakes in the middle of the night to discover his Snowman has come to life. Instantly becoming friends the pair play together and go on a grand adventure that takes them all the way to the north pole.

Is The Snowman streaming on Netflix US?
Sadly The Snowman is unavailable to stream on Netflix US. It is available on a subscription in the United States, however. You’ll find it currently streaming on Prime Video or if you’re a Vudu user, it’s streaming there too.
Is The Snowman streaming on Netflix in other regions?
Surprisingly the only region streaming The Snowman is Japan. Fans in the UK can stream the 1982 classic through All 4, on the Channel 4 website.
