One of the strongests performing sections on the Netflix library which is perhaps passed by most adults is the animation section. We’re not talking about shows like Bojack Horseman but those clearly designed to be aimed at the lower age groups.

Today, going of the back of a string of other Dreamworks titles that’ve come to Netflix, Mr Peabody and Sherman gets the Netflix treatment with a Netflix Original series due to hit the service on October 9th.

When I talk about the string of other Dreamworks titles I’m referring to titles such as TurboFAST, which just got another season dropped onto Netflix, as well as the brilliant How To Train Your Dragon series.

The new show based on the box-office title of the same name is about a boy and his dog that travels through space and time to visit historical figures including Mozart, Napoleon and Edgar Allan Poe. It will be presented like a late-night show.

The 13 half-hour episodes will most likely land all at once on October 9th.
