Although we’re now entering the summer drought when it comes to new DVD releases, June has a few surprises up its sleeve. Here’s every single DVD, blurays and boxsets which will be wining its way onto Netflix’s DVD subscription platform which is only available in the United States.
Let’s begin with some highlights:
On the movie front, the biggest release will be Black Panther arriving on June 12th. Starring Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther was first introduced in Captain America: Civil War but got his own solo outing earlier this year plus later appeared in Infinity War too.
The Tomb Raider movies have been quiet in recent years but this year marked the release of the reboot starring Alicia Vikander. The reviews weren’t too kind for the reboots but neither were they to the Angelina Jolie movies either.
On the boxset front, we’ve got two major titles. Orange is the New Black is the streaming darling of Netflix and the fifth season will become available on boxset this month. We’re also going to see the release of the brand new rebooted season of Will & Grace.
As always, new releases on Netflix DVD come on every Tuesday. That means we’ll get four days worth of new releases throughout June on the 5th, 12th, 19th and the 26th.
