Sandly Wexler: Third Netflix Original Movie From Adam Sandler

·

On April 14th, 2017, Netflix will welcome Adam Sandler’s new movie, Sandy Wexler. Netflix recently released the latest teaser trailer for the film, which is an upcoming American comedy directed by Steven Brill and written by Dan Bulla.

If you’re a big fan of Adam Sandler’s movies, then you won’t want to miss him in this one. Sandy Wexler is a talent manager working in Los Angeles who represents a range of interesting clients in the 1990s. However, Wexler falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke, who is an incredibly talented singer. Their love story starts at and amusement park, where Wexler sees her real talent, and it blossoms from there.

Cast of Sandy Wexler

Jennifer Hudson, who is best known for her role in Dreamgirls in 2006 and Sex and the City in 2008, will play the leading female role. The combination of her talent in singing and acting could prove a match for Adam Sandler in this romantic comedy.

This Netflix original film will also star Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick
Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Carl Weathers and Arsenio Hall.

Previous Adam Sandler Movies

The film joins Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over, which were previously released as part of the four-picture deal between Netflix and Happy Madison. This means that we still have another film after this one where Adam Sandler can surround us with his charm and witty ways.

There have been mixed reviews so far about his previous films for Netflix, so here’s hoping that this one turns out a little better than the last two.
