The End of The F***king World Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

“To be mad in a deranged world is not madness. It’s sanity.” The Dark-Comedy will return to Netflix for a second season! The question is when though!? After an immensely successful first season, it comes as no surprise fans are clamoring for more. Let us help with your appetite, so here’s everything we know so far about season 2 of The End of the F***ing World

The End of the F***ing World is based on a graphic novel of the same name by creator Charles Forsman. Debuting on Channel 4 in the UK in late 2017, it wasn’t until the series came to Netflix before its popularity exploded. Fans have been hounding for any snippets of information on the upcoming season.

17-year-old Self-proclaimed psychopath James targets new girl Alyssa as his first human target to kill. Alyssa the rebellious teenager proposes they run away together, hoping to get to find adventure in her mundane life. James agrees to hope to find an opportunity to kill her along the way. As they embark on a road trip across England the pair begins soon develop a relationship after lots of mishaps along the way.

What to expect from season 2

How dare they leave the show on such a crazy cliffhanger! Did the third shot miss? Has James met an untimely death!?

Well, the pair of Alyssa and James have been caught by the police and James’ fate has been left unknown. Assuming James lives he’ll be under arrest along with Alyssa. It’s highly unlikely that the two will be able to escape the clutches of the Police. Chances are we will see a trial with James potentially being sent to jail for the ‘Manslaughter’ of Clive Koch. In the final episode, James had taken it on himself to take as much blame for the death of Koch as possible.

If Alyssa returns home she will be subject to the abuse of her stepfather again. Hopefully, the star-crossed pair will reunite!

Who is in the cast for the second season?

A full cast list hasn’t been released as of yet but we’ll ensure to update this as we know more. Currently, we’re assuming the following cast members will be returning:

How many episodes will there be?

It’s highly likely we’ll be getting another 8 episodes!

Will all the episodes release at once?

For audiences, outside of the UK season, 2 will arrive on Netflix with all the episodes. Fans in the UK will have to wait longer though as the series will be staying on Channel 4 for the short term.

Are fans excited for the release of season 2?

The show was a smash hit for audiences so as the days count down fans will be getting even more excited for its release.

Do we have a trailer?

At the moment we only have a teaser for the second season. Hopefully, we will see a full trailer drop soon!

When is the release date?

We still don’t have a release date as of yet! If the second season has 8 episodes like the first then it will take of least 8 weeks before you’ll see it on Netflix. This is because of the show airing on Channel 4 in the UK first.

You may have seen a Facebook post claiming that season 2 will be returning on January 15th. This information is incorrect so make sure to keep up to date with this article for the correct release date.

Any word on a season three?

That entirely depends on Channel 4 who are the producers of the show. Considering the popularity of the show both in the UK and to worldwide Netflix audiences we can expect to see a renewal for a third season.
