Wrestling is on the cusp of entering a new era as AEW and WWE will soon go head to head from October 2019. Both promotions have a stacked women’s division, much like the ladies of GLOW in the Netflix Original series. GLOW returns on Friday the 9th of August, so make sure you know what time GLOW is available to stream in your region.
GLOW is a Netflix Original comedy-drama based on the real-life wrestling promotion of the same name. The series was created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch.
Set in the 1980s, a group of women audition to take part in a brand new wrestling promotion for female wrestlers. After failing numerous auditions for the film industry, aspiring actress Ruth Wilder auditions for GLOW so she can finally put her acting talents to use. Her former friend and rival Debbie also joins the promotion in spite of her disapproving husband. Through much trial and error, the ladies of GLOW begin to build their characters and polish their talent as in-ring performers while the first televised performance looms overhead.

Is Season 3 the last season of GLOW?
Unlike Stranger Things, the future of GLOW hasn’t been laid out. Netflix very rarely order seasons in bulk and GLOW isn’t any different. Certainly one of the more popular titles on Netflix, the future of the series will be reliant on the performance of the third season.
For all, we know the narrative of the third season may not leave the door open for the fourth season.
