It’s been a long wait, but tomorrow on Friday the 20th of December, the first season of The Witcher arrives on Netflix. The Witcher is an upcoming Netflix Original fantasy-horror series based on the beloved novels of the same name by author Andrzej Sapkowski. Already the Original series has become one of the most anticipated releases in Netflix’s history. With such an avid fan base that features fans from both the novels and the video-games, its easy to why there is so much anticipation for the release of The Witcher. Many fans were initially put off by the casting of Henry Cavill but after the most recent trailers showcasing the actor in action has certainly cast those doubts aside.

Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, a mutated human with the ability to wield great power. As a Witcher, Geralt travels the sprawling continent, hunting the great number of beasts and paranormal creatures that haunt the landscape, for a price of course. The further Geralt travels, struggling to find his place in the world, he soon learns that the worst monsters are the ones we create.

What time will The Witcher season 1 be coming to Netflix?

Thanks to the changing of the seasons, winter is in full effect across the Northern hemisphere, and with it comes daylight savings time. This means some regions across the world will be receiving the first season of The Witcher an hour later than usual. All releases are dictated to Pacific Standard Time (PST).
