The latest Transformers movie will be out in cinemas in June and with that, many will be heading to Netflix to try and watch the movie series. Let’s take a look whether or not the movies are on Netflix.

Originally created as Toys by Hasbro and Tomy, the Transformers Franchise has developed into Muli-Billion dollar film series that first debut in 2007 with the director being Michael Bay and distributed by Paramount Pictures and Dream Works.

The Special Effects and action sequences are the most noteworthy aspect of the franchise, with some mixed criticism surrounding its plot, humor, and run time. Apart from that, it has developed quite a large fan base that has spanned over 5 films so far, with another two films in the pipeline.

The latest addition to the franchise, ‘Transformers: The Last Knight” is due to release on June 23rd and is keeping Mark Wahlberg as the main protagonist like in ‘Age of Extinction’, as opposed to Shia LaBeouf, who starred in the first 3 movies. Some fans have missed Shia playing the main role in the films, but over all many people have accepted the switch to Mark.

Over the years many cartoons and comics have also been produced based on the Toy line that first began in 1984. There have been many generations of the Transformers and some are available to stream on Netflix.

If you are a Netflix customer from the USA, unfortunately, none of the live-action adaptations directed by Michael Bay are available to stream at this moment. But a number of animated cartoons are available including: ‘Transformers: Prime‘ and ‘Transformers: Robots in Disguise‘.

Alternately, if you do own a Netflix DVD account in America you are currently able to rent pretty much all of the live-action Transformers films. But if you are not fortunate enough to have a Netflix DVD account, your best bet will probably be renting the titles from either Google Play or YouTube Movies.
