Many have said it, and I’ll say it again here, it’s been an awful year. On December 27th, 2016, Carrie Fisher, the prolific actress most known for her role in Star Wars passed away after being rushed to the hospital a couple of days ago. This will lead many of you wanting to watch her finest on-screen moments on Netflix. Here are her appearances on Netflix in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Star Wars on Netflix

Her most famous role and probably what most people know her for is her breakthrough role in the Star Wars franchise. First introduced in 1977, she played the role of Princess Leila and would go to star in the entire trilogy. Carrie would then reprise her role in 2015 with the return of Star Wars in The Force Awakens.

As of right now, only those in Canada can watch the most recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens with the US getting Rogue One sometime next year.

30 Rock Cameo

Carrie Fischer in 2007 starred in an episode of the comedy show 30 Rock. Carrie played the role of Rosemary Howard. In the episode, she famously cited her famous line from Star Wars as well as moved into comedy which she plays Rosemary, someone Liz Lemon idolized for much of her childhood. Turns out she isn’t as cool as Liz though she was.

You can watch Rosemary’s Baby (Season 2 – Episode 4) of 30 Rock on Netflix US and Canada.

Other Movies Roles on Netflix

  • When Harry Met Sally (1989) featured Carrie Fisher playing the role of Marie. As of right now, you can watch When Harry Met Sally on Netflix in Australia.
  • Sibling Rivalry (1990) is a comedy movie where Carrie played Iris Turner-Hunter. It’s available on Netflix in the United Kingdom.

So there you have it. Sadly some of her other roles aren’t on Netflix such as The Blues Brothers, Shampoo, Postcards from the Edge, Under the Rainbow, Hannah and Her Sisters among others. Carrie Fisher will be remembered for decades to come for her influential role as Princess Leia. Rest in peace.
