Anime on Netflix is a growing medium and has been attributed to growing the fan base in the US. Naruto is one of the biggest anime series of all time and one of the best too. The series started off as a manga series in 1999 before quickly being developed into television and movies several years later.

The premise of the manga/anime/movies is simple. Naruto is a young ninja training to become a Hokage. Known for it’s over the top action sequences, it’s cemented itself as one of the most recognizable animes of all time. It’s relatively new to Netflix though so what we’re going to do below is give you a summary of what Naruto titles are streaming when new seasons will be available and where you can stream the other missing titles.

Naruto Series on Netflix

Naruto is a relative newcomer to the Netflix library. The first listing we had was back in May 2016 with all three seasons added on the 1st of the month.  So that means you hade 156 episodes to binge through.

When will all the seasons come to Netflix? *UPDATE*

For a while, it looked like Netflix was removing Naruto from their library but that is no longer the case! Seasons 1-6 are now streaming on Netflix!

What about Naruto Shippuden?

If you’re in Canada you’re able to stream four seasons of the 2007 series. Those in the United States, though, won’t be found on Netflix anytime soon as Crunchyroll currently hold the license.

As stated above Naruto Shippuden is currently streaming on Hulu and all episodes are available to stream (Not all have the English Dub). Will we see it on Netflix soon? There is a chance but don’t expect to see all 9 seasons of the anime streaming at once, chances are Netflix would receive only the first few but now Netflix is streaming all of Naruto there is a chance Netflix may eventually receive some of Shippuden soon!

Naruto Movies on Netflix

The series is fantastic but just as good are the movies that have been produced for Naruto. Here’s a breakdown of the Naruto movies streaming in various Netflix regions.

In the United States,  Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow (2004), Naruto the Movie 2: Legend of the Stone Gelel (2005), Naruto the Movie 3: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom (2006), Naruto Shippuden: The Movie (2007) and Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Bonds (2008), Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Inheritors of the Will of Fire (2009), Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Lost Tower (2010), Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Blood Prison (2011) is streaming.

In CanadaNaruto Shippuden the Movie: Bonds (2008) and Naruto Shippuden: The Movie (2007) is streaming.

In Australia and New Zealand you’ll find Naruto the Movie 2: Legend of the Stone of Gelel (2005) streaming.
