When will Season 2 of The Ranch come to Netflix?

Although we had to wait to get the second half of The Ranch, the first season has now officially concluded meaning that we’ve got the first official 20 episodes for the show. Even though season 1 part 2 only just released on October 7th, 2016 you wouldn’t be surprised, Given its popularity,  that Netflix actually renewed the show back after the first part of season 1 dropped.

That means that the renewal status for season 2 is a go so all we have to do now is work out when the next season of The Ranch will be coming to Netflix.

The successful sitcom (with a laugh track) first premiered in April 2016 with a well-known cast including the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Sam Elliott and Debra Winger. The story revolves around Kutcher’s character returning from his failed sports career to help fix the struggling farm.

Although it hasn’t been to everyone’s taste, we couldn’t’ believe the amount of you that loved The Ranch.

Let’s take a look at any potential release schedule. We think, given the success and Netflix’s move to splitting their seasons in half and then releasing them roughly six months between each other, it’s likely they’ll do the same with season 2.

Given how quickly Netflix announced the fact that The Ranch is getting a second season, we think that filming has likely already started and we’ll get the first 10 (season 2 part 1) of the 20 confirmed episodes next April 2017. That leaves the second half of the season to premiere once again in the fall in October 2017.

In the meantime, Netflix is releasing more comedy sitcoms in the near future including the second season of Fuller House in December and the second season of Lovesick in November.

What do you think about having to wait another 6 months for the first half of season 2? Do you think Netflix will release all of season 2 at once? Let us know in the comments below.
