Canadian shows tend to do well on Netflix because quite often, it’s the only place you’re able to stream those shows. Recently added Schitt’s Creek has become instantly popular sparking many people to ask when Season 3 of Schitt’s Creek is coming to Netflix. Let’s dive in.

Often referred to as Canada’s answer to Arrested Development, Schitt’s Creek is about a family who has gone bankrupt. Its style of comedy is different and you’ll have people who argue which one is funnier but the salient fact is that this is a great comedy sitcom.

The series airs on channel Pop and stars Eugene Levy (American Pie), Catherine O’Hara (Second City Television), Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy.

Season 1 and 2 Netflix Releases

To look ahead into the future we first need to look at the past. In the case of Schitt’s Creek, both seasons 1 and 2 were added to Netflix back in January. That then brought us up to date before season 3 started airing in Canada a few weeks after.

Schitt’s Creek Season 3 Netflix Release Date

UPDATE: Schitt’s Creek S3 is coming to Netflix on October 5th, 2017

For the US, we suspect that Netflix will continue getting new seasons before the next on premieres in Canada. In which case, we predict that season 3 will be added to Netflix US in January/February 2018.

In the United Kingdom, new seasons are being added each February meaning February 2018 is the most likely release date there. This release schedule is also seen for Netflix in Australia.

If you’re in Canada, sadly Netflix hasn’t managed to secure the rights there so you’ll have to watch on the network itself.

We hope that gives you an idea as to when the new season is streaming. If you haven’t started watching already we highly recommend it. It has a superb cast and is very much needed light comic relief.
