Mr. Peabody & Sherman were first introduced as characters back in the 1950’s and 60s TV show ‘The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show’  which was widely known for its high-quality writing and humor, that seemed to appeal to both the children and adults of the time. The show has many segments, one of which being ‘Peabody’s Improbable History’ where a Dog named Mr. Peabody travels through time with his boy Sherman.
Even for the time, the 1950/60s animation was a little choppy and lackluster but the show was still loved by many.

Recently the Duo were re-imagined into a DreamWorks Animation film in 2014 simply titled ‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’ and is the first project from DreamWorks to feature characters from the 1950’s since they bought the right to the media in 2012. The film debuted in February 2014 and despite slightly underperforming in the Box Office, still did relatively well overall.

Mr. Peabody sets out to teach his newly adopted boy about History, and what better way than traveling throughout History in a Time machine, experiencing it face-to-face.

The first season of ‘The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show’ released in October 2015 and since then a total of three more seasons have been produced and released as a Netflix Original, the latest being season 4 that premiered on the 21st of April 2017. As Netflix releases all the episodes in the series at once, it is likely, (if you are a keen fan of the show) that you have already finished completely.

If that is so, then you are probably already eagerly waiting for Season 5 to be announced and released.

At this moment the release date has not been officially announced by Netflix, but we can take an educated guess that Season 5 will be available around November/December 2017 at the earliest. For a cartoon with such a good standard of animation, a gap of 6/7 months is quite reasonable.

Did you enjoy season 4? Have you already finished it? Are you already waiting in anticipation for the next season? Tell us in the comments below.
