One of the most well respected and widely known directors in all of film history is, of course, Steven Spielberg. When talking about pioneers of modern film it’s impossible not to think of Spielberg and the many greats he has helped bring to our screens over the years. Below we are gonna take a short look at his career and what films of his are available to stream on Netflix right now.

Spielberg’s career has spanned more than 40 years with an amazing 57 Directing credits (so far) since his first 1959 movie The Last Gun. As well as directing, Steven has 167 producer credits and is one of the wealthiest filmmakers in the world. Some of Spielberg’s best known directed films include Jurassic Park, Jaws, E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial and Minority Report.

There are also plenty of projects in the pipeline for fans of Spielberg to be looking forward to, most notably the Sci-Fi, Action, Adventure Ready Player One which is due to be released in cinemas later this month. The film will star Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts, an outcast who like many other, escape their lives by using a virtual reality game called ‘The Oasis’. The film includes many references to pop culture including Overwatch, The Iron Giant, and even Back to the Future.
