Spring is heating up with a slew of new titles coming your way in May and Netflix is off and running with new series and new seasons of favorites.

It’s that time again where we highlight a few of the new choices coming your way from Netflix. The biggest news is new seasons of returning series, but there are also some new Originals to keep your eye out for. Honestly, there were so many choices this month it was hard to narrow down.

Comedy legend Carol Burnett is returning to television with her new Original A Little Help with Carol Burnett, a show where kids dish out advice to celebrities and everyday people in front of a live audience. Michelle Wolf, writer-contributor on The Daily Show and writer on Late Night With Seth Meyers, has a new half-hour talk show premiering this month. And there are two new episodes of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction hitting the service with Tina Fey on May 4th and Howard Stern on May 31st.

Scandal Season 7 arrives May 19th.

5. The Toys That Made Us: Season 2 Netflix Original

Arriving May 25th

This series takes a look at some of America’s greatest toy franchises, including the people and companies that created them. It’s a journey through parts of our history and a look at how popular toys shaped who we are today.

4. Evil Genius: The True Story of America’s Most Diabolical Bank Heist Netflix Original

Arriving May 11th

This four-part series tells the story behind an extraordinary criminal case known as the “pizza bomber heist.” In 2003 in Erie, Pennsylvania, a robbery and public murder capture the nation’s attention. A bizarre collection of lawbreakers play cat-and-mouse with the FBI finally leading to a woman who was once the town beauty. But 15 years later, it turns out there’s more to the conspiracy and murders than was ever thought.

3. Riverdale: Season 2 The CW Early Release

Arriving May 24th

Based on the characters of Archie Comics, this series follows a group of teens and life in the small town of Riverdale. Behind its seemingly perfect image is a world of hidden darkness.

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 4, Part 1

Arriving May 30th

Ellie Kemper (The Office) stars in this series about a woman who was held underground as part of a doomsday cult. When she is finally rescued, she must adjust to the world that has moved on without her. This show is infinitely quotable and has too many pop culture references to count. It has swift dialogue, fantastic guest stars, and will be the most fun binge you’ll have this month.

1. Dear White People (Season 2) Netflix Original

Arriving May 4th

Based on the 2014 film of the same name, Dear White People follows the students of Winchester University as they are growing up, learning about the world, and dealing with racial tensions. The show is witty, sharp, and has a great cast. It’s very entertaining social commentary.
