Long live The Beast!
Can’t Hardly Wait
Finally done with school, a graduating class has one last blowout before the journey into adulthood. Every clique is represented, from the prom queen (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to the nerdiest of nerds, as they spend the night partying, reconciling their time spent together, and discovering just who they really are. Can’t Hardly Wait is a who’s who of “before they were stars,” including Peter Facinelli, Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), and Jason Segel. Sticking with the usual teen angst comedy formula, it’s a fun party.
Into The Wild
After graduating as a top student and athlete, Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch) rejects convention and his parents wealth. He decides to give away his savings and go on a pilgrimage to Alaska in search of himself. Based on the nonfiction book of the same name, it details the adventures and people McCandless encounters on his journey to self-discovery. Nominated for two Academy Awards, it includes great turns from Kristen Stewart, Catherine Keener, and Vince Vaughn.
Happy summer and congratulations, graduates!
