The Witcher season 1 is now available to stream on Netflix
It’s been another excellent week of TV series on Netflix. With a great selection of shows to watch, you’ll be spoilt for choice over Christmas! Here are the best new TV series on Netflix this week for December 21st, 2019.

The Witcher N

Henry Cavill stars in Netflix’s brand new Dark Fantasy series, The Witcher. Based on the beloved novels of the same name by author Andrzej Sapkowski, the franchise is also highly regarded for its video game adaptations. The Original is one of the most highly anticipated shows to arrive on Netflix in 2019.
Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, a mutated human with the ability to wield great power. As a Witcher, Geralt travels the sprawling continent, hunting the great number of beasts and paranormal creatures that haunt the landscape, for a price of course. The further Geralt travels, struggling to find his place in the world, he soon learns that the worst monsters are the ones we create.
Cinderella and the Four Knights

It’s been a busy year for K-Dramas on Netflix, and 2020 will be busier still. To round off the year, we’ve seen two more K-Dramas added to Netflix in December. The first of the two is a modern retelling of the classic Cinderella fairytale, but instead for a knight instead of a prince, and four of them instead of one.
After the death of her father, Kang Ji-woon is forced to live with her cruel stepmother and sister. Ji-Woon meets three young handsome bachelors after being hired by their grandfather to look after them and their bad behavior.
Crash Landing on You N
Seasons: 1 | Episodes: 16 (After all episodes are broadcast)
Genre: Drama, Romance
Cast: Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Seo Ji-hye, Kim Jung-hyun, Nam Kyung-eup
Over the years, there have only been a handful of K-Dramas that have featured stories to do with North Korea. Rather than an espionage thriller, Crash Landing on You has opted to for the romantic approach, which has more than grabbed the attention of fans around the world. Brand new episodes will be available to stream on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The beautiful fashion heiress, Yoon Se-ri, crash lands in North Korea after she is swept in a windstorm on her paraglider. As she crashes from the tree, she lands on North Korean military officer, Lee Jung-hyeok. Despite being a man of principle and without compromise, Lee Jung-hyeok decides to help Yoon Se-ri, and hides her from the North Korean authorities. As the pair learn more and more about each other and grow closer, it’s not long before the pair begins to fall in love.
Don’t F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer N

Genre: Crime, Docuseries
The internet is a wonderful tool and source for entertainment and learning, but sadly it has also been used for great cruelty. Multiple such instances that caused an online global manhunt was when a crazed individual uploaded a video of himself killing two helpless kittens. Further videos followed, each as cruel as the last until it resulted in the murder of a person. To take the murderer down, an online group of amateur sleuths worked together to hunt the killer and to bring him to justice for his crimes.
The Magicians

Cast: Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil
Good television series come few and far between for SyFy but arguably their most successful in recent years is The Magicians. As one of the most popular series to be binged on Netflix, fans will be delighted to see the fourth season is now available to stream.
After being recruited to a secretive academy, a group of students discover that the magic they read about as children is very real and more dangerous than they ever imagined. But will getting hooked on the thrill of magic distract them from honing their powers when they need them most?
Twice Upon A Time N

The ability to turn back time is one such power many people have craved, but if you could… what would you do with it? That is the tragic question asked in Twice Upon a Time. A tragic tale of love, this French drama will be entertaining for any time travel aficionado.
Months after a crushing breakup with the love of his life, Louise, the grief-stricken Vincent has tried to move on with his life by going to parties, and quick sleazy affairs. One day, Vincent receives a mysterious parcel he never ordered. Inside is a strange box without a bottom, giving the user the ability to travel back to the past, and in Vincent’s case, transports him back to a time where he and Louise are still together, giving him another chance at their relationship.
What’s New Scooby-Doo

Genre: Animation
Cast: Frank Welker, Casey Kasem, Mindy Cohn, Grey Griffin, Dee Bradley Baker
In the early 2000s, What’s New Scooby-Doo was paramount for any child sat in front of a tv with a bowl of cereal on a Saturday morning. Despite the series now having the same quality as the original series, it’s still a great show to put on for the children.
Scooby-Doo and the gang return to solve more mysteries.
