Welcome to your weekly look at the best new TV series added to Netflix over the past 7 days. Although it’s been a quieter week than normal, thanks to the usual dump of Netflix Originals on Friday and the September 1st additions, there’s plenty to walk you through.

The Spy (Limited Series)

Cast: Sacha Baron Cohen, Noah Emmerich, Hadar Ratzon Rotem, Alexander Siddig, Waleed Zuaiter, Nassim Lyes
One of the latest international pickups has been the French series The Spy. Featuring Sascha Baron Cohen who makes a departure from his usual comedy flicks to appear in a 6-part historical series based on the life of the Israeli spy, Eli Cohen.
The series has been getting rave reviews and also features the talents of Hadar Ratzon Rotem, Yael Eitan, Noah Emmerich, and Nassim Si Ahmed.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Season 6)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Sci-Fi, Thriller
Cast: Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker
Despite most Marvel shows and movies now scheduled to release on Disney+ over the next few years, Netflix still has the rights to ABC’s Agents of SHIELD. The series is the strongest tie-in with the MCU and follows the agents of shield on various assignments to deal with global threats.

The Walking Dead (Season 9)

AMC’s The Walking Dead continues to be the flagship show for the network and thankfully, still arrives on Netflix in a yearly fashion. This year, the series arrived slightly earlier on September 1st which gives you plenty of time to watch before the AMC premiere date for season 10.

Scream: The TV Series (Season 3)
Genre: Crime, Drama, Horror, Mystery, Thriller
Cast: Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna, Carlson Young
We didn’t know whether Scream would be coming back at all given it struggled to find its feet after season 2. Thankfully, not only has season 3 aired but it’s now on Netflix.
The series adapts the movies and sees teens face off against similar foes.
