5. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003)

This is probably Angelina’s most iconic role where she plays the role of Lara Croft, a famed world explorer who was first seen in the original Playstation game. The original is currently available on Netflix which is a shame given it’s by far the best of the two movies, The Cradle of Life will give you a good glimpse into the world and get you hooked.
4. Hackers (1995)

The cult classic movie that will forever make you cringe as it gives you a perfect glimpse into the world of the 1990’s is one that should be on your Netflix queue list if you haven’t seen it. Jolie stars as Kate Libby also known in the movie as Acid Burn. She wasn’t originally cast as the character though but was only offered the part after Katherine Heigl turned it down.
3. Maleficent (2014)

In 2014, Maleficent released with a massive budget behind it and that paid dividends. Jolie starred as the powerful fairy known as Maleficent who is destined to look after the Moors but that doesn’t quite go to plan. It’s a fantasy epic and one of Disneys best live action movies in the past decade.

The animation in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is strange and life like but almost verging on life-like. It’s not a blockbuster movie by any stretch but one that has plenty of personality and visual prowess.

When I first saw Changeling, I was physically and mentally exhausted by the end as it dealt with something that hadn’t really be dealt with in films before it. That is the mental health system back when it wasn’t as civilised as it is today. A young woman who’s convinced that her son who’s returned actually isn’t her son, she’s committed. The rest is truly shocking and what’s worse is that it’s based on a true story.
