In this drama from Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross, a middle-aged Georgian woman leaves her husband and their multi-generational home, setting out to build a new life for herself. It’s a simple yet remarkable look at family and what it means to take control of one’s own destiny.
3. Voyeur (2017) Netflix Original Documentary

This is a creepy and complicated tale. It follows legendary journalist Gay Talese as he researches and writes his controversial book ‘The Voyeur’s Motel.’ It is an account of a suburban Colorado motel owner who spied on his guests for decades. They become kindred spirits of sorts, both following a burning obsession for documenting the lives of others. What follows is a “journalistic trainwreck.”
2. Bright (2017) Netflix Original Movie

Will Smith and Joel Edgerton star in this crime movie set in a world where humans and fantasy creatures coexist. On what starts as a routine patrol, they find a very powerful magic wand that has the potential to change the world. They must work together to save humanity.
