Hilary Swank plays Maggie Fitzgerald, a determined boxer who is aspiring to move out of the amateur league and become a professional. Who better to train her than the best, Frankie Dunn (Clint Eastwood) a now retired pro. At first Frankie refuses training her without a second thought, but can the budding athlete prove herself worthy?

This is a sports drama that is regarded by fans as one of the best boxing films made and has a truly inspirational story line.

4. This is Spinal Tap (1984)

Release Date: 1st March, 2017

This is Spinal Tap is a comedy released in 1984 and follows the British Rock Band ‘Spinal Tap’ and their attempt for an American comeback. Even though the Band was real, the entire movie was a big spoof of rock’n’roll and was written very cleverly, along with perfectly carried out improv.

Personally, I would say it’s on the level of Monty Python with its unique comedy elements.

3. Coraline (2009)

Release Date: 16th March 16th

Coraline is a young girl who is always seeking adventure, and after she moves into a very old house, she finds a hidden passage that seems to lead to a perfect alternate world. Everything seems great at first, apart from everyone has buttons for eyes. The sweetness of the world slowly turns sour as Coraline realizes she is tricked into the world, and cannot escape.

A very unique and quirky animated family film.

2. The BFG (2016)

Disney Exclusive – Release Date: 15th March 2017

The Rohl Dahl classic was remade in 2016 by Disney and is more of a sequel following a little orphan girl named Sophie who encounters the BFG in the streets of London and it was taken back to his mysterious but dangerous homeland. The giant is very kind natured, unlike any of the other child-eating giants, who treat him like an outcast.

The CGI is very impressive all over and the show is a very entertaining family movie, that does live up to the classic.

1. Jurassic Park (1993)

Release Date: 1st February 2017

Any Steven Spielberg fan, or just movie fan, should be glad to hear that the classic 1993 film ‘Jurassic Park’ has been released to Netflix viewers.

Two paleontologists are invited to a new theme park, that has genetically cloned real dinosaurs back into existence using advancements in scientific technology. After a large storm hits the island, nature takes her revenge and everyone on the island is put in extreme danger.

This is a classic that will always be regarded as a milestone is film making history and that you should re-watch now it’s available to stream. Or if you haven’t already seen it, this is your chance.
