5. Southpaw

4. Mindhorn Netflix Original
Netflix Release Date: May 12th
Richard Thorncroft is a pretentious actor in the twilight of his career. He had a brush with fame in the late 1980s playing Mindhorn, a maverick detective with a robotic eye. But now his star has faded, and he can barely get work doing commercials. Enter a deranged killer who can’t separate TV from reality. He demands to deal with Mindhorn. If Thorncraft plays his cards right, this just may mean a comeback.
3. Marvel’s Doctor Strange Disney Exclusive

Who’s in the mood for some Cumberbatch? I thought so. Another citizen of the Marvel universe, Dr. Stephen Strange’s life changes after a car accident robs him of the use of his hands. Seeking any remedy that will restore his dexterity, he finds hope in a mysterious enclave. He soon learns that there is an unseen battle against forces bent on destroying reality. Now he must choose between his life of status or taking his place as a defender of the world.
2. Get Me Roger Stone Netflix Original
Netflix Release Date: May 12th
This is a story about America’s most powerful dirty trickster. This film chronicles the life and times of Roger Stone, a self-described Machiavellian lobbyist and advisor. He has been present at nearly every turning point in American politics over the last four decades, including the last election. President Trump warned Stone not to cooperate with the Netflix documentary and its directors. That’s reason enough to watch right there.

Netflix Release Date: May 26th
Adding to their growing list of original movies, Netflix is now pulling some major stars for their original productions. This black comedy is based on the book The Operators by Michael Hastings. A true story, Brad Pitt plays a charismatic four-star general who is discharged to command NATO forces in Afghanistan. Sent to bring the war to an end, he instead finds himself under attack, taken down by a journalist’s no-holds-barred exposé.
