Stranger Things season 3 tops the what’s hot list again

Welcome to your weekly look at what’s popular on Netflix around the world using several data points including from Netflix itself. Once again, Stranger Things remains dominant by most metrics but newcomers are also breaking into the top 10s. 

We’re currently working on getting some more data points to add to this article which can provide even more insights into what’s currently popular on Netflix right now.

Now let’s move onto the most popular new releases on Netflix over the past 7 days.

What’s Popular on Netflix UK This Week

Every week, Netflix UK releases a top 10 list of the biggest new titles on Netflix. It does so via a Tweet which we then embed below for your convenience.

Last week, Netflix’s investor call said Netflix was continuing to assess the popularity of its popularity lists and did not announce any more

Notably, Stranger Things season 3 sits at the top of the list for the third week in a row. Money Heist just broke onto the list with its third season release on Friday. Will Orange is the New Black manage to knock Stranger Things S3 next week? We’ll soon find out.

TVTime The Binge Report

Although Money Heist didn’t knock Stranger Things off the UK list, it did top the TVTime tracking app top 10 list. Stranger Things gets knocked down to number 2 whereas the long-reigning series Lucifer gets knocked down to number 3.

The reason Money Heist likely topped this list is because of the app’s global usage.
