New on Netflix Australia This Week (September 14th, 2018)

Justice League now on Netflix Australia (Copyright Warner Brothers)

Netflix Australia was treated to one of the best movie lineups in recent memory with hits from both past and present dropping onto the service this week. A strong week for Netflix Originals means that you’re going to be needing to take Monday off from work to catch up on all the great new content on Netflix. As always, we’ll start out with some of our highlights then move onto the complete new additions that were added between September 8th and September 14th.

The headline movie addition this week was the 2017 superhero movie that brought some of the biggest DC heroes together to battle it out. Justice League features Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg in this CGI-heavy epic. It wasn’t to everyone’s liking and there’s almost no doubt it’s vastly inferior to what Marvel is up to nowadays but it’s still a great movie.

Speaking of Marvel, Robert Downey Jr’s also known for his appearances in the Sherlock Holmes movies; both of which has now dropped on Netflix! The two movies released in 2009 and 2011 respectively and while they are by no means masterpieces, they are extremely watchable.

On the TV front, we’ve got a few updates to big shows. Although most other Netflix regions get quick updates of Glitch as it’s a Netflix Original, Netflix in Australia always has a long wait. Season 2 of Glitch is now available. We also got updates to the popular series Outlander as well as the second season to Syfy’s Wynonna Earp.
