New on Netflix Australia This Week (September 21st, 2018)

Paddington 2 now on Netflix Australia

Paddington 2 now on Netflix Australia

Not for the first time in September, Netflix in Australia and New Zealand has added some stellar new movies. Here’s a full rundown of the week’s new additions to Netflix AU plus we’ll pick out some highlights for you too.

Let’s begin with possibly one of the best movies released in recent years. It holds an impeccable score on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and for good reason, it’s marvelous. It somehow manages to top the movie that came before. It’s worth watching regardless of whether you’ve got the kids with you.

Sticking with movies, two Police Academy movies were added to Netflix this week but in a strange order. Both the third and fourth movies were added this week. One of the best war movies of all time featuring a stellar cast and fantastic visuals also rejoined Netflix in Australia this week. Saving Private Ryan is now streaming on Netflix.

Moving onto the Netflix Originals, there’s two we’d recommend to everyone. First up is Maniac. The trippy drama starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill is like watching an amped up indie movie. It features lots of twists and turns and we’d recommend sitting through the whole thing in a single sitting. The Good Cop also dropped on Netflix this week and is the first cop procedural to come to Netflix exclusively although it has a slight twist.

Here’s the full list of titles added to Netflix over the past 7 days.
