This last week has brought some interesting titles to Australian Netflix. 37 new additions have been welcomed, including 19 Movies, 5 Documentaries, 12 TV Series and 1 Standup show. Amongst this there a few great titles that we think it’s worth mentioning individually.

Our first pick for this week is the return of the Netflix Original ‘13 Reasons Why‘ whose second season has just arrived. The Drama series follows teenager Clay Jensen after the suicide of his classmate Hannah Baker. Although the series has been met with controversy it has still built up a sizable fan base who can’t wait to see what else Hannah has left behind.

The 2015 film ‘Trumbo‘ has also been added to Netflix starring Bryan Cranston as the Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. But after being jailed and blacklisted from the business for his political beliefs he works behind the scenes to win two Academy Awards and prove everyone wrong. The Biography/Drama was received quite well and even was nominated for an Oscar.

Our final highlight of this week one more for the kids. The 5th season of ‘Spirit Riding Free‘ has just arrived to Netflix worldwide. The Animated Adventure follows Lucky as she builds an unlikely relationship with a wild mustang named Spirit.
