HBO struck gold in the late 90s with the release of Sex and the City. With 6 seasons and 94 episodes under its belt, many fans would have felt the series was a definitive ending to Carrie’s story in her journey to find love. Except, four years later Sex and the City was released to audiences worldwide. Making over $400 Million at the box office, the film was a smash hit, paving the way for its less successful sequel Sex and the City 2.
