The Notebook now available on Netflix Australia
Certainly a busier week than last, Netflix Australia has 59 brand new titles added to the library this past week! As Winter down under fast approaches make sure to select plenty of films to cuddle up to this weekend. Here are all the latest titles added to Netflix Australia this past week.
First of all, here are the highlights from the past week:
The Notebook (2004)
If there was ever a romance film that defines the early 2000s then The Notebook is the easy winner. A heartfelt tale of loss and love, The Notebook is the perfect film to watch with a loved one when you’re curled up on the sofa.
In South Carolina, mill worker Noach Calhoun and rich girl Allie fall in love but sadly her parents disapprove of the relationship. The pair are ripped apart from each other when Noah volunteers to serve in World War 2, seemingly ended their love affair. While Noah is fighting in the war it’s not long before Allie is betrothed to another man. Years later when Noah’s service has ended, he returns to the South Carolina town on the cusp of Allie’s wedding. When the pair reunite it soon becomes clear their love for each other is anything but over.
Atomic Blonde (2017)
When the trailer for Atomic Blonde hit a few years ago it sent the internet into an overload. With the beautiful Charlize Theron playing the role of kick-ass MI6 spy Lorraine Broughton, it left many hot under the collar. Surprisingly, the film had a poor showing at the box office. If you’re a fan of blood pumping, face kicking, and bone-crunching action then you’re going to love Atomic Blonde.
It’s 1991, Germany and the fall of the Berlin Wall is imminent. Sent to the city of Berlin to carry out a nigh impossible mission is Lorraine Broughton, the most elite spy in MI6. Her mission is to retrieve a dossier that will help take down an espionage ring. Upon arriving it’s not long before she catches some unwanted attention, so she teams up with an embedded station chief to help her in the deadly game of spies.
White Gold (Season 2) Netflix Original
Fans of the Inbetweeners will absolutely love White Gold especially with actors James Buckley and Joe Thomas working together once again. The wait for the second season has been quite extensive but it has definitely been more than worth the wait.
set in Essex, England during the 1980s and follows a dodgy sales company who are looking to set the world on fire with their double glazing windows. Along with his two dysfunctional staff, Vincent Swan must keep the business afloat.
