December continues to be the month that keeps on giving. You have a lot of great binging ahead of you this weekend.

Happy weekend! Are you overwhelmed with all the decking of boughs with holly and wrapping of gifts and errands to run? Netflix is here for you. You made it to Friday. Now all you need to do is sink into a chair and start unwinding with the holiday zen that is streaming. Fact: Present wrapping production goes up 30% if done while streaming something that you enjoy. Fact: Ribbon curling expertise goes up 27% while watching a holiday movie. I’m just here to help you with your holidays, people. I’m no hero.

You have a lot of great options this weekend and, as has been the trend of late, a lot of them are Netflix Originals. Let’s begin with a movie that is currently in theaters and has been getting a lot of buzz. Already being called one of the best films of the year, ROMA is brought to us by from Academy Award-winning director and writer Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity, Children of Men). Drawing upon his own childhood, Cuarón creates a vivid and emotional portrait of domestic strife and social hierarchy amidst the political turmoil of Mexico City in the 1970s.

I have to admit I’m a little late to the party with this next title. From the persistent recommendation from friends, I just recently discovered what a great show it is. Netflix Original series Travelers gets a third season today and it is totally worth a watch. As someone who is really not a fan of sci-fi, even I am hooked. This new season of finds Grant MacLaren and his team of highly-trained operatives from the future pushed to the limit and dealing with themes of loyalty, trust, death, and the ever-growing power of Artificial Intelligence.

Now we get to a spooky holiday vibe. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has a new holiday special full of cheer and Winter Solstice fun. Christmas traditions seem to include some sinister elements in the Spellman house. If you’re in the mood for a different take on a holiday special, this should help tide you over until Sabrina returns next year.
